Synopsis:
No longer a neophyte of the dom/sub culture, the housewife heroine of I’M HERE FOR YOU MY GODDESS is back for more lifestyle exploration in Lynda Colucci’s sensuous sequel WE’RE HERE FOR YOU MY GODDESS.
When readers first met Lynda Colucci’s protagonist, Sharon, she was learning to juggle her new-found sensual lifestyle and her family life. In WE’RE HERE FOR YOU MY GODDESS she continues her sensual explorations but only after dealing with some major changes in that family life. Foremost of these are the loss of her husband Frank in an automobile accident and the passing of her beloved father.

As the sequel opens, Sharon has gone through her grieving and has emerged as a powerful and re-energized woman, even more dedicated to her family and to satisfying the secret needs that give her that energy.
EXOTIC & STEAMY…
It is an exotic, steamy energy, so it only follows that when Sharon’s friend Sophia gets a job assignment on the lush tropical island of Tahiti and invites Sharon along, the housewife dominate is quick to jump at the opportunity. She leaves her children in the trusted care of her mother, Linda, and her submissive lover – and Sophia’s brother – Livio, and prepares for the trip.
LOVER…
While the two friends truly intend to get a lot of work done while on the island, a clandestine encounter on the flight down between Sharon and an anonymous airplane passenger seems to suggest there would indeed be time for some goddess play. This is no more evident than on their first day of business when it turns out that anonymous airplane passenger is actually part of Sophia’s project team. Sharon take advantage of the proximity and soon adopts this man, David, as a submissive lover.
The titular “We” begins to make sense as Sharon has doubled her number of subs, demonstrated overtly when Livio travels to the island to be with the woman he considers solely his goddess. Jealously does rear its head, but as Sharon makes the sexual rules she also makes the emotional ones, and any rivalries are soon quashed, albeit uneasily.
OBSESSIVE STALKER…
Dom/sub lifestyle adventures aside, the friends’ island tenure also includes the business project, Sharon’s kidnapping by and subsequent rescue from an obsessive stalker, and the island being in the crosshairs of a huge hurricane.
COSMOPOLITAN STYLE…
Colucci here demonstrates her craft with the seamless way she can convey these real life episodes in a lively cosmopolitan style while still maintaining the sensual threads that run through the text. Back on the mainland the characters’ lives continue as normal lives do. There’s Sharon and Livio becoming engaged, a family trip to Canada, house-hunting and condo selling, and many other everyday events that thoroughly humanize and center the characters.
Still the overall thematic push of the book is maintained throughout with a perfect balance between the episodic character stories and the erotic under and overtones that shape the entire narrative. Colucci does this all while keeping the theme from being overbearing, yet still never letting the reader forget what they came for.
